Lophopetalum arnhemicum (Arnhem Endemic)
Handsome and evergreen medium-large shade tree with erect slender form and horizontal branches. Small lightly scented cream to green-yellow flowers. Endemic to the sandstone escarpment of Kakadu and Arnhem Land. Found in stands within Anbinik forests, in sandy soils and along banks of permanent freshwater streams or monsoon forest. Important nectar source for birds and bees. 8-12M
